daddy's girls.

This has been quite a week... and month for that matter.  I feel like I have been given a renewed perspective on life... done some deep thinking... fresh priorities.  It has been hard but oh so good.  I have been spending a lot of time with my family lately... and have loved it.  I've just felt an extra special need to be with them.  I am so very blessed... and think I needed to remember that.  My dad had surgery this week to remove a baseball-sized mass on his thyroid... The Lord has been so good to all of us.  Dad is recovering well... finally able to breathe, since the mass was constricting his trachea.  Things are looking incredibly hopeful.  We all feel so thankful to have so many supportive friends who have been praying for us.  The best is yet to come. :)
